Fields of golden

Two days of torrential rain gave way to bright sunshine today.
There is a magnificent field of rapeseed growing near us but I'm
finding it difficult to get a good place to photograph it.
This view shows Sliabh Guillion in the distance.

Looking at the foreground I'd say that if you intend to approach it, very high gumboots may be the dress code of the day.

this view works so well... a better place might mean fording that steep ditch, a daunting challenge...from here you caught rich layering though...wonderful light, and the distant mountain adds subtle depth...V
