'Drowning the Shamrock' has, for better or worse, become an integral part of the St Patrick's Day celebrations so pubs in Dundalk were getting in the spirit and putting up decorations for tomorrow's feast day. While we had a lot of rain today, the forecast is a bit better tomorrow, so hopefully it will stay dry for the parade.

Every bar in Houston Texas is geared up for St. Pats too. Hope you have good weather for the parade. I enjoyed your photos from last year's parade!

It's already St Patrick's Day here (and has been raining constantly since around 2am which made for a fun PAD shoot this morning) so... happy St Patrick's Day.
I too like the positioning of the pedestrian, as well as the framing to keep to the central subject of the pub.

Excellent perspective and the pedestrian adds a lot to the photo as she walks by unaware of the pub or the photographer. V.

I imagine this place could look very different now as its peak drinking time on a Friday night as I leave this comment :0)
