Move away

As soon as she saw me approach the gate, Mrs 42 came running towards me, baaaaaing loudly.
Maybe she was just feeling protective about her newborn, maybe she doesn't like photographers, or maybe she knew I had lamb chops in the fridge, ready to put under the grill once I'd got another last minute PAD.

I like the spatiality in this one. Mrs 42 not quite in centre and well to the foreground. The horned one further back, and the lamb beyond that forming a line leading into the frame, and of course the fence in the background doing the same. Naturally the expression is priceless (not just mum but also the hiding lamb), but the composition is worthy of note too.

Its the guy with the horns that would worry me. Although isn't there a Kipling poem about the 'female of the species'.

Thaaaaat's Ms "Big" 42 to you. "Little" 42 is still camera shy.

With those numbers on them they look pre-destined for the fridge! No wonder she is protesting. It's a wonder they aren't out there with signs and banners!! Nice work!!

Fab picture! Not only heads-up, but also looking your way and talking.
I'm guessing that she is saying 'eat me'... maybe not.
