This collection of short stories by James Joyce is one of his most accessible works. I read it many years ago when I was a student
and was particularly moved by the story 'The Dead' which was
adapted into a film, directed by John Huston.
* This Georgian door is not in Dublin but I am beginning to get desperate - haven't got the time or weather for some of the
images I want!

I do like your door. A good one for the title. I love the architecture.

Very nice work for the challenge. I read and enjoyed it too many years ago. You are right about the accessibility, an easier read than "Ulysses" which I enjoyed even more and a much easier read than "Finnegan's Wake" which I may or may not finish one day.
