Just as I'd stored my summer clothes away and had even bought a new winter coat, the forecast announces that we
are to get an Indian summer. It's a most welcoming prospect after the coolest, wettest and most disappointing
summer in years. We are supposed to get unseasonably warm temperatures, up in the high teens, towards the
end of next week.
I haven't seen many butterflies this year. This small tortoiseshell was on some sedum at the Flower Market where
I met a friend for coffee this morning.
