Getting Ready

At first I was puzzled to see this digger scraping the snow and ice from
The Market Square in the town centre. Then I remembered that the
10 anniversary of the visit of President Bill Clinton to Dundalk is being
commemorated this weekend. A marquee is to erected in front of
the frozen fountain with an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia
from the President's visit and a concert of local musicians. Brrrr....
somehow I think it's a bit cold for a concert in a tent, even a tent
with heaters, so I will be staying in front of the fire.
Had hoped for a better pic but my entire lunchbreak was spend trying
to set up internet banking as the branch where I do my banking is
being closed-grrrrrrrr.

Way of the world, I'm afraid, although I have to admit I'd happily never set foot in another bank branch as long as I live if I didn't need to.
There's a nice geometric structure to this shot; the rectangular shapes of the buildings against the more triangular shapes of the rock mound and the poised Bobcat.

A fine winter scene with its typical problems. It looks mighty cold!
