Harvest in

A few weeks ago I was taking pics of poppies in this field. Now the
harvest had been cut and taken in, adding to the feeling that summer
is nearing its end.

Such a lovely scene. It's always fun to watch the arrival of a new season, but I suspect we'll still have a lot of summer heat.

But in the meantime... golden fields and rolling hills below, patches of grey cloud in a blue sky above providing spots of both light and shadow. Photographing conditions don't get much better than that. Wonderful capture of it, but perhaps better to live in the moment; summer's not gone yet!
