The World Cup is not the only game in town. We arrived home from holidays to find the Red and
White colours of Louth decorating the streets and roadsides. The Wee County, as Louth is
affectionately known, has qualified for the first Leinster Final in 50 years. This, of course,
is in Gaelic football, which has its own rules.
Louth last won an All-Ireland in 1957 and the mighty Meath now stand in our path
of progressing further.
This enterprising shop keeper is hedging her bets and is selling both Louth and Meath
flags.
And don't worry - I will get back to using my D90. It's just that Mondays are one of
those days when photo opportunities are snatched during coffee breaks.
