Our neighbours' lambs are all grown up now. They have been weaned from their
mothers by being put in a separate field. While the air was filled with plaintive bleating
for a day or two it must have come as something of a relief for the ewes who were
almost bowled over when their offspring came charging at them looking for
a drink of milk. The next step will see the flock moved from the lowlands to
the mountains.
