Facebook Cookbook

What do you use Facebook for? If you're like me, it's for a bit of gossiping, spying
on your friends, real or virtual, maybe getting the odd story.
But one friend of mine, Petra, a Swedish artist living in the beautiful Cooley peninsula,
asked her friends to send her recipes, preferably illustrated with a drawing or
a photo. Sixty of her friends responded and this is the result - a book of
favourite tried and tested recipes from Ireland, Sweden and Spain. A much
more useful endevour than seeing how smart or sexy you are!

I'm not on Facebook, I don't have the time. But I must admit this recipe exchange is a good use of one's time! I think it would make an interesting challenge too!

I am not on Facebook but my recipe file holds many happy memories of good food shared with good friends who have remained friends through the years. I love all that this recipe book stands for!

Someone finally makes good use of Facebook. The cool colors of the image belie the the hot recipes inside. Good ideas all around!

What a great idea, Mairead, both: yours with this capture and your friend's idea of making this book . Could be an idea for a new challenge?

Ahhhh Facebook - home of eternal drivel :o) At least someone seems to be able to make some sense of it!

Great idea, I have a facebook account but don't think I have ever used it more than once. Much better idea this is.

What a great idea, I'm not a Face Book user for all the reasons you have mentioned, but this is good use of a handy social networking tool.
