Coot

A cool blustery day, very disappointing for a Bank Holiday.
Just went for a quick walk around Stephenstown Pond where
the coots and mallards were trying to find shelter from the
waves.

That's scarily coincidental (as you'll see from my own shot for the 5th), though I had some more pleasant weather for mine. I like the textures of the water here, with a nice fast speed capturing the ripples; that combined with the colour really gives the feeling of the weather that you describe.
