Last resort

I'd reached the time of day when male Padders reach for their power tools! What had seemed like an
inspired idea for today's pic, a steaming iron, failed to produce a good pic, possibly because I
was as worried about burning the clothes as I was about getting my camera settings right.
So it was time to dip into my trinket box and pull out this pendant. As a cat lover I was unable
to resist it when I saw it displayed in a local boutique and the fact that it was in a sale
made it totally irresistible.

Beautifully arranged and shot - the focus and shallow-ish DoF is just right...nicely done!

So nicely presented. Much more pleasing that a hot iron!

Heehee - the little fishy is perilously positioned :o)

a bit cutsie yet a well-fashioned bit of bling...sinuous array of chains and pulsating oscillations in the silvery setting...V

Well, as far as desperation shots go, I've seen far worse (much closer to home 8^> ). Including the some of the texture of the fabric and the chains made for a good background (with just enough DOF), and I think you've arranged and lit it well. Nice background story as well, of course.
