Ducks Crossing

It's spring, the time of year when a young man's thoughts turn to love.
And thus it is with the town's mallards whose courtship sees them leaving
the water and wandering onto the roadway, into carparks and housing
estates.
Had to wait for this gaggle to get out of the way when I was driving
to a Council meeting today. Thought it was a fun shot in a day
otherwise lacking in photo opportunities.

Lovely shot - he's quite the gentleman too allowing ladies to go first! V

The low angle works well here. Despite the large expanse behind the main subject, the presence of the fence keeps drawing my eye back to where it needs to be.

Oh, and of course it's cute!

Yes one must watch for them or they can "Quack" you up :-)

They choose the dumbest places to nest! But what a terrific chance for a photo.

Definately a fun shot, they did well to follow the green cross code.
