It's time to start writing cards to send to friends for Christmas. I thought I was organised when I bought some
stamps while doing a story on an attempted raid on a Post Office (killing two birds with the one stone!) yesterday but I've realised that today is officially the last day for posting cards to the United States and further afield. Luckily my friends know me by now and know that they are in my thoughts even if I don't manage to post their cards in time. Of course, it helps that they live equally busy and disorganised lives. And of course, I can always send them an email, or a virtual card if I don't manage to send a real one.
