I like pansies - I always fancy that they have smiling faces.
It was another cold and windy day so I just nipped out to the garden and
managed to grab this shot between the showers.
I don't really approve of Sunday shopping, not because of any religious objections, but because I think
six days a week are enough for the wheels of commerce to crank round and that we should have at
least one day for relaxing and spending time with our families and friends. But as I had done that
yesterday and as the weather wasn't suitable for doing anything else, I ended up going to Dundalk,
to the town's biggest shopping centre. Although a lot of people are certainly going north for their
shopping, The Marshes was full of people. Not sure if they were just walking around in the warmth
or if they were shopping but there were queues at the tills in the couple of shops I went to. Treated
myself to a new pair of slippers and bought Toffee a cute festive cat bandana for his Christmas portrait!
