The Bay through the Bars

Learning project at the moment is to try and shoot in low light. I brought out my tripod one night recently and asked my loyal bodyguard to walk the coastal route with me. Result: not good. Next evening I was driving the same route, no tripod in the car, and the moon was shining gloriously on the bay. I balanced the camera on the half-open car window, set a slow shutter speed, the lowest ISO and this is the result. Another few night walks with the tripod will be necessary to bring up my skills...

Lovely light on the bay and nice graphic representation of the bars.

It's a really cool scene, seems very difficult. It reminds me of the 'moonlight at the railing' scenes on "The Love Boat" -- but they never got it quite right.

Love the fence and the light of the moon.
Excellent composition.

Nice colour combination with the moonlit water in the distance.

Not the kind of bars I usually associate with Dublin, but very interesting all the same.
