As you get good with the Dremel you can make some amazing bolt cuts with threads that work as good as factory. Of course you could use a hack saw too but the Dremel is nice.
I use a nut to help guide the cut. Screw the nut onto the bolt and place the "outer" face where you want the cut. A second nut can be used to lock the guide bolt. Then guide the cutoff wheel along the face of the nut. The nut helps to keep the threads from deforming.
