Thanks Lou...I think it was a bit chilly that day, seems these doves puff themselves up quite a bit when the temperature gets low.

Thanks, These ones are a little easier to at least get a photo of, than some of the smaller ones, they aren't quite so quick at close range, actually sit still for a second or two.

Seems these doves are more grey in the summer when I think of it. I remember when I was a kid and had a paper route, hearing them very early in the morning. Funny how certain things stick with a person. Yeah this Sigma lens didn't cost much (compared to) but it is amazing me. This was shot through a window screen also...and many of the others in this gallery through patio door glass. I did sharpen most of them up a bit.

dove, we only have the gray one's here and they
rule the yard. I love their cooing, very calming.
