AllWands

My oldest grandson visited recently; while he was here we celebrated his birthday.
He intended to have a party with his friends when he got back home, a party with a “Harry Potter” theme.
One of his mothers thought it would be a great idea if I could turn wands for each of the guests.

At first I demurred, since my turning skills — especially my spindle turning skills — are limited.

But what can one do when one’s grandson’s happiness is at stake?

So I started turning. The first few took me a long time and were pretty plain.
But I got a little better over time. I ended up turning more than required.
