A report to www.Magicicada.org resulted in a visit by Dr. Jin Yoshimura to collect specimens.
He was not sure if it was Brood XIX or Brood IV (Kansan Brood) showing up four years early.
Two years later and after examining the specimens, he was still not sure.
Yoshimura is a Japanese systems engineer who is known for his explanation of the reasons for the
prime numbers 13 year and 17 year cycles among Magicicada species.
