Callopistria floridensis - OK vs. Costa Rica

Seven Callopistria floridensis (Florida Fern Moth) have been sequenced by DNA barcoding.
Reference: BOLD:AAA4051
There are three local variants, all distinguished from Costa Rican specimens whose data has been made public in BOLD.
The local variants are more separated from each other than they are from the Costa Ricans and show an unusual difference in the amino acid sequence.
This is the far northern reach of the species. Genetic variation must be occurring here. Or, since it is a greenhouse invasive, these might be coming from various sources.
Thanks to Dan Janzen who submitted the Costa Rican moths to BOLD and for his comments on these results. Also, Bruce Walsh for his help in interpretation of the amino acid results.
