Would it be possible for you to tell me the name of the long rods at the top of the tram (as in the Johannesburg model, though they are not visible in the photograph on your website) linking the tram to the overhead electric cables?

Trev .Brilliant pics of Crich which we have visited.Unfortunately they have nothing except a map about the Sheerness tramway system. For more info can I ask your reader to visit our site http//www.sheernessheritagecentre.com and go to the trams and railway pictureswhere there is info on the system and the power plant

Greetings from New Zealand, Your Crich Tramway Village pictures sure revived some old memories of those far off days when the tram was "king" on the streets in many Cities in England in the 1930's until their demise, Thanks Trevor for a nostalgic journey, Les.
