Ouch!

Here's the damage to my arm after a fall at work.
It hurt like hell when I did it, but it's easier now the bruise has come out.
What do you think?
Please don't vote for this gallery - it seems to upset some real photographers, according to a few of the comments I've recieved.

P.S>. How bout I go take some "snapshots" of my buddys grave who just lost his life by a drunk driver and the images of the twisted and destroyed motorcycle he rode. For all of those who left comments refering to me and my "statement" can go to hell.

He had 1st typed "Vote for me because i am wounded." That is why i left my initial comment. This has nothing to do with photography and this is why I left Pbase long ago.. To much snapshot images slowing down the people who actually care to view a photograph.

I had never thought of posting my bruises, cuts and scrapes before. My worst injuries I never got any pictures of.

Ooooh, nasty stuff, bar a broken metacarpal I've never sustained an injury like that, so I can only imagine how much it hurt. Its freaky to watch how the bruise changed over four days. Oh, I voted too, just to piss off some of your critics!

Wow, you were luky not to brake all your bones on the way... I wonder why people have to criticise anyone posting photos of whatever kind on the web... as if they were highly ilegal content photos... they make me laugh and cry at the same time since the ones who repress your needs of hanging them are no more then small dictators who wold not respect the freedom of speach prinicipals in last instance, ofcourse that is, except their own freedom to say stupidities.

People are just pissed to see this gallery doing so well when they see a bunch of snappies getting more exposure than their galleries into which they spent time and effort. Hey, sh*t happens. Hope you arm gets better real soon. I've had my share of booboos like that too and it can take quite a while to get better. Take care, man.

These pictures are educational. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It never occurred to me that you might have posted these pictures to get sympathy. We all have our weaknesses; is sympathy less valid than praise or technical feedback? Knowing the story behind the fall would make the gallery even more interesting: how did it happen? were you taken to a hospital? what did you learn from the incident? A gallery title like "Arm injury" would give squeamish surfers a better warning of what was to come. I promise not to vote.

No need to get nasty 'Eldar Kadymov' and 'Weston Perry'. They're only photos of a bruise. What's the problem. If they offend I'll remove the pictures. The Smpathy bit was a bit of a laugh - Maybe you're just too far up yourselves to see that.

Deja Vu! You certainly have my sympathy! I know your pain. Four weeks ago I tripped over a dog barrier and broke my shoulder. My black and blue marks look very similar to yours. Hope you didn't break anything and heal quickly. Isabel
