The picture of fairground people sitting on the carousel would be from about 1956. The white-haired gent on the left is, I am sure, Mr. B.F. Andrews who ran the lucky dip stall near the car-park entrance. (His stall can be seen in another photo of the fairground.)
I helped him on his stall when I was aged about 9 to 11. Known to his friends as Andy, he lived at Warden Point and died about 1957-58. May he find the pleasure in the next life that he gave to others in this life.
