Blue/grey appeared from 1965 onwards on Mk 1 coaching stock, and small yellow warning panels on SR Class 33's from 1967, so my offer is between 1965 and 1967.

It's pre 1964 as the warning panels are not there plus I think the coaches are blood & custard

That's an interesting picture. I'd guess it's some sort of excursion train and taken in the mid to late 1960s. I think the carriages are in British Rail blue and grey rather than the early British Railways red and cream. The D6500 (now Class 33) loco however is still in green without even yellow patches on the ends, so it's likely to be earlier rather than later in that period.
