Where was the Manhattan Beach located, who owned it, and when did it close? I'm curious because I think my grandfather (George Jubb) ran it for awhile in the early 1900's (manager? caretaker? I'm not sure). His wife died in 1903 of a spider bite, and he raised 6 girls there. I love the area, so I'd like to know more.
