Beautiful muted colors on this early winter scene. Nothing for those trees to do now except quietly wait for spring.

Exellent Larry. You've captured the feeling perfectly. Makes me nostalgic, but I'll think I'll do my chilling out here in SoCal. We are expecting hi 70s again. ;-)

You have captured the mood perfectly.

Beautiful static image. The grey of the sky brings out the dormant color in the trees all the more, and I like the fact that the lake isn't completely frozen over yet. Not only does that speak of a mild winter, it also provides a reflection for the trees in the forefront in different ways. Excellent composition and, as others have said, immaculate clarity.

A frozen delight.

Beautiful, just like a water colour painting. Too cold for me, brrrr!

beautiful!

It's obviously becoming really cold - I can feel it from the photograph. At present, we have that strange phenomenon of thick frost early on followed by mild, sunny days - sadly, set to break this Friday. CH

I love that effect you get on your pix, Larry...looks like QMP or maybe just ink outlines? but you're getting such a beautiful and perfect finish!
Wonderful shot!
