Pbase changed something here and set a Sigma 28-105 lens in there. I brought this back to normal now and show the Sigma 105 Makro lens that I use for all Makroshots normaly. I use the ancient 105 Sigma lens. The more recent D type is not as good in picture quality and I recommand anyone using the previous made lens for shooting in digital as well.

I see you did not use a macro lens for this. How did you get so close and maintain such quality. Did you use extension rings for this? I am in the market for a macro lens but the sharpness you have attained here would be sufficient for me so i am interested in the setup used for this shot. Any comments would be appreciated.
