Makroshots need a lot of patience and for sure, know-how.

I have tested many Makrolenses for Nikon cameras and despite of the fact that Nikon makes a nice range of special lenses for this purpose, my choice and preference is Sigma's Makro Lenses.

The 150, the 105, as well as the 180, are the outperformers in this category and it is quiete hard to find any brand of lenses to challenge them in Makro-picture quality.
