This view is towards Mt McLoughlin in Oregon. The slight smoke and smog of Medford and the valleys produced the layered neopolitin effect..

Thank you for posting this pic and all others from the Red Buttes. I grew up hiking and horsebacking all through this area, but am now thousands of miles away. This has been a glimpse of heaven for me. Marian
