This is the final repair. I used JB Bond slow drying epoxy on the inside to bond the arrow shaft sleeve to the carbon fiber. The sleeve is 5 inches long, so there is 2.5 inches per side. I have lost only about 2 cm of length on the pole, and I will run the middle section 10cm longer so this repair will be tucked inside the upper section. After 24 hours of curing by the wood stove, I trail tested the repair, and it held up fine.
