Blocks of flats built around 1960. A kind of urban collective buildings for workers that were never specific to Romania; rejected by their inhabitants, with no man's interstitial land, those blocks represent one of the most bitter lessons of life. The urbanism of these areas of the city, a nightmare of Le Corbusier's "La Ville Radieuse" show but very well the conclusion this great architect arrived at the end of his life: "La vie a raison, l'architecture a tort." (life is right, architecture is wrong).

thank you for looking, your opinions on the subject are awaited.
Nicely observed, Lorin. You can see the same in many towns and cities the World over. The planners, the architects, the leaders are still making the same mistakes. Only the materials and the colours change. The attitudes remain. How many of these people have to live in their creations?
