Is located in front of La Punta District, has two main visible islands. El Fronton towards the left side, a disident prison used to exist decades ago, construction traces of those hard days still can be found on the island. You had to be a great swimmer to leak out for the coast to be free, a 5 kilometer distance to the nearest shore, with extreme cold water temperature and high water currents.

To the right side San Lorenzo, a 7.5 Km long island, where you can find small, calm beaches just for you, if lucky to have a boat. The navy has some bases here, so avoid getting near them. On the extreme right side, Cabezo Norte, a nice beach where many yachtsmen cruise to spend a ful beach day with other yachtmen crews and friends, higly recommended. This natural island protects La Punta surroundings.
