I discovered my love for pottery and wheel throwing about 2 years ago, when I first took a wheel throwing class at the Danforth Museum of Art. It turned out to be a wonderful learning experience that led me to discover new ways of expression using a non verbal medium, and a new sense of awareness of the "here and now". If you had the pleasure of trying to sculpt using wheel throwing techniques you probably know that you must be fully present to be able to master the movement and flow with it simultaneously. Sounds fun?- It is!. For the inspiration and guidance I thank Laurel MacDuffie, an inspiring teacher and a creative potter.
