Shafer Trail: Second Visit

This October 2006 trip was my second visit to Shafer Trail. I drove a rented Nissan Pathfinder,
which got me all the way from the Potash boat ramp to the White Rim Trail in two-wheel drive.
This was a "revenge trip" because my first visit ended sooner than I had planned.

Hello Dave,
Hope you are doing well and travelling to all those not so travelled places. Long story short I came across your email (June 10, 2006) with a link to your site that had the pictures you took of Ranger and I. Ranger passed just about a year ago and seeing your picture of us brought some great memories of our travels together...and a few tears. Thanks Dave, Doug Carter

We just completed this journey with a full size Chevy 1 ton van and wouldn't recommend that means of transportation along this route. Great pictures.
