we thought it would be fast; but it was only half-fast.....

John, the contract I signed with PBase Field Event Documentation Services stipulated that I could not go over 340 mph while on duty. With so much power under the hood of the Green Weenie I was in a constant battle with my Speed Spirit and I dared not engage the mesothermic-enabled regurgitator. However, I did unwind a bit on the drive back to the access road, "pushing the envelope of permissability": I got up to 336mph. Gas mileage suffered a bit.

So, how fast did you get it to go on the race course?

Those spectators sure haul a lot of stuff with them. Hope you gave the Sienna a nice bath when you got it home -- we New Englanders know all too well what salt does to motor vehicles. And Red Sox.
