Most of the pit area is to the left, where zillions of racing vehicles, support vehicles,
and people were to be seen. The World of Speed is one of several racing events held at
the Speedway every year, weather permitting (heavy rain can cancel an event). This
edge-of-pit-area shot shows the contrast between empty salt and "civilization."
