After collecting several bottles in the basin below Delicate Arch I hiked back to the parking lot looking like this. As I walked down the trail, the bottles swayed back and forth, making an odd but pleasant sound as they bumped into my leg. A hiker coming up the trail took this photo (thanks).

Your concern pleases me, Larry, and you're right on both counts, although the sunburn was limited to my wrists, neck, and face. The delirium of landscape exploration was exquisite.
