Behemoth

Seattle, Washington view map

As I drove home one evening from Seattle, I was forced to stop at a grade crossing at the west end of Union Pacific's Argo Yard because a switch engine was moving freight cars around. I grabbed my camera, got out of the car, and took a few pictures.

This is one end of an "auto rack," a two- or three-level freight car that carries new automobiles exclusively. Let's pretend that the poor focusing was intentional for the sake of artistic effect.
