Looking northwest up Castle Valley. At center is Parriott Mesa, photographed when I drove
to the trailhead: http://www.pbase.com/listorama/image/60699044 . Left of it are the red
hills that were also photographed on the drive in. Just below the red hills, Castle Valley
Road turns to the right to ascend to the crest of the same hills.

The long, slanted wall behind Parriott Mesa is the north wall of the Colorado River,
which flows from right to left. To the right of Parriott Mesa, and behind the low red
ridge, is Ida Gulch, explored in 2004: http://www.pbase.com/listorama/2004ut_ida .

Out of view to the right is Castleton Tower (see Panorama #4).
