This truck is typical of those used to move equipment trailers and the mobile office
( http://www.pbase.com/listorama/image/55931630 ). It has a state-of-the-art power
plant that can pull tremendous loads. To survive the rough roads of the wild west,
it has been outfitted with special all-terrain tires. Darkness-piercing halogen-oil
lamps illuminate the road a mile ahead.
Note the absence of a PBase logo on the door panel. The environment in which this
vehicle must operate is harsh: decals and fancy paint schemes get abraded or corroded
faster than they can be replaced. One driver submitted a cost-saving suggestion,
which was adopted: don't repaint. In the spirit of eco-friendliness, the roof is
constructed from recycled materials.
