At first glance this pour-off looks as if it might be climbable, and I was eager to see what was out od view above. But the combination of moisture, moss, crumbly rock, and steps that were not deep enough made it much too risky. The rock slope is about 40 feet (12 m) tall). I took a long, relaxing break here before heading back to the car.
