Looking southeast at the northern end of the loop road in Valley of the Gods. The Green Weenie is visible just left of the upper end of the gravel road, where I camped that night. As the evening wore on, the shadow at bottom slowly obscured the tower. There was only one other vehicle parked nearby that night. It was a truck and a white trailer and can be seen left of the Green Weenie, about a quarter of the way in from the left edge. The following day I hiked up one of the stream canyons there, then drove to Moab.
