The second-last night of the trip I car-camped in a "parking lot" near Interstate 70. It's probably a former staging area for highway construction. Lots of room there: at least a hundred cars would fit without trouble. In this morning shot, my car is the only one present. Two road graders stand by silently. The only sounds were made by interstate highway traffic and the shutter of my camera.
