October 2008

Snoqualmie Pass, Washington

What is that cowboy doing in the picture?
Gary (hat) and I at Snoqualmie Pass at the start of our trip to Utah. Note the facial expressions: I was in a serious mood, desiring to achieve Enlightenment through union with Moabian sandstone. Gary was seeking Enlightenment from a coffee cup.

I was a bit embarrassed to appear in a photo with Gary, as he neglected to wear the most important part of his wardrobe during this trip.

Joe Tripod, whose valuable support faclitated this
documentation effort, shared my concern.

Larry, I'm guessing, but maybe Gary is smiling because Dave is not wearing the white hat.

Gary seems a little embarrassed to be seen with you, too, seeing as how you forgot the most important part of your wardrobe: your (in)famous white hat.
Nice photo, as usual.

All of my vistas will exclude Bill Gates (he crashed).

Love the 'PC and Mac' reference. Do we see Bill Gates in later pictures.

welcome back dave. i was just wondering where you were. can't wait to see the latest dispatches from the sandstone communicator.

P.S. the two of you look like something from a "I'm a PC...and I'm a Mac" commercials. :O)
