Chestnut-cheeked Starling at UP-Diliman!

Wanting to test the 40D's Live View manual focus with the Sigmonster + 2x TC, I made a short visit to the University of the Philippines, at Diliman, Quezon City.
I bumped into a couple of birding buddies there (Prof. Gerry and Chito), and we eyed the water birds at the Hardin ng Rosas. It was raining on and off, with very flat lighting,
but we were pleasantly surprised when we saw the uncommon Chestnut-checked Starling foraging among the trees. This species is my 245th lifebird...:)
