Des Allen also commented that this is misidentified. I pinned my ID as a Blue Fantail mainly on the color of the bill (black), as I expected the BNM to have a black-tipped, bluish one as seen here:http://www.pbase.com/image/30893338. With you confirming Des' thoughts, I'm now recalling the ID. Well, I'll try to catch the BF on my next trip to davao...8-)

Romy, I've gone slow on this one as I know that you want it to be the Rhipidura. But, I just can't see Rhipidura here. For me, this is Black-naped Monarch (Hypothymis azurea).
