Greater White-fronted Goose at Candaba wetlands

Fatbirder's Top 1000 Birding Websites

A couple of weeks ago, fellow bird photographer Alex Loinaz reported the presence at Candaba wetlands (and posted photos) of the Greater White-fronted Goose (Anser albifrons), a first record of this species in our islands.
The birds prefer to stay in an inaccessible portion of one of the large ponds, and can be easier seen when these are in flight. I got fortunate this December 28th to see them in flight. :)
