i live in a condo. i leave peanuts in the shell on my balcony all the time. i have all kinds of blue jay's all day long stopping by. in addition, i have a occasional red bellied woodpeecker and tufted titmouse's stop by. it's fun to watch. it drives my cat nut's. great site, thanks.

We see TONS of blue jays at our bird feeder. I recently tried a "Nuts & Berries" blend, and it seems to be very popular, esp to the blue jays, the black caps and the cardinals (male & female)... Even the squirrels have enjoyed picking up the leavings on the ground.
