omg i saw one of those out side my house like last year or so i was like 2 feet long it was huge but we cant seem to find another but there is a small one out side right now we were so amazed by how big it was!!!!!!!!!!! i wanna know how they get that big!!!! just heard it pecking again so bye ....gonna try to find it

that is an excellent pic right there! I saw my first pileated woodpecker's(2) last week in the Muskoka's!
